  • 300 g of pre-cooked fonio(West African cereal)
  • 4 tomato
  • 1 cucumber
  • 200 g of feta
  • 1 basil branch
  • 2 tablespoon of olive oil
  • Pepper
  • Salt
  • Preparation

    Cooking time: 30 min
    1. Step 1

      Rinse the fonio in cold water. Put the fonio in a steamer basket with a cloth in the bottom (the fonio grains are very small). Cook the fonio for 30 minutes with steam or 15 minutes with a pressure cooker.
    2. 2nd step

      During cooking: cut tomatoes , fonio and cucumber in small cubes. Coarsely chop the basil .
    3. Step 3

      When the fonio is cooked, let it cool then add two tablespoons of olive oil, salt and pepper . Mix.
    4. Step 4

      Add diced ingredients and basil. Mix.
    5. Step 5

      It's ready, serve on plates and enjoy!
