  • 4 slice of country bread
  • 2 pélardon (AOC goat cheese)
  • 100 g of plain diced bacon
  • 1 green salad (batavia, lettuce, romaine according to taste)
  • 2 tomato
  • 1 Red bell pepper
  • 1 clove garlic
  • Olive oil
  • Basil

    1. Step 1

      Rub the four slices of country bread with the clove of garlic.Cut the pélardons in two in the width. Place on each slice of bread half a pélardon.
    2. 2nd step

      Put them on the plate of your oven with baking paper then sprinkle them with olive oil and basil . Cook 15 minutes.
    3. Step 3

      Meanwhile, wash the salad and put two or three leaves on each plate. Wash the tomatoes , cut them in half and slice each half into thin slices. Put them on the salad.

      Cook the bacon at your convenience without adding fat.Sprinkle them on the salad.

      Cut eight slices of pepper and cook in olive oil over very low heat until pepper is melted. Place four slices of pepper per plate.

      Make the sauce for the salad (the one you prefer, there are several recipes on Marmiton) and drop the toast of hot goat on the presentation. Sprinkle with chopped basil.

    Author's note

    This salad is presented in a large plate. If it is too hearty, you can serve it in a small plate by toasting a person, replacing the salad with lamb's lettuce and tomatoes with cherry tomatoes cut in half.
