Italian Pasta Salad :

250 g butterfly pasta

1 melon

6 cherry tomatoes

12 basil leaves

150 g mozzarella or feta cheese

4 thin slices of parma ham

12 black olives

6 tablespoons of olive oil



Preparation: 15 min
Cooking time: 10 min
Step 1
Cook the pasta for 8 to 10 minutes.
Step 2
Cut the melon in half and cut the flesh into balls with a melon spoon.
Step 3
Cut the cherry tomatoes in half, the mozzarella cheese in cubes and the ham in strips.
Step 4
In a bowl, combine the lemon juice and olive oil. Season with salt and pepper. Add 6 chopped basil leaves.
Step 5
Drain the pasta. Quickly put them under cold water and pour them into the bowl. Mix. Add melon balls, cherry tomatoes, mozzarella, ham and olives.
Step 6
Sprinkle with the remaining basil.
Step 7
Serve cold, but not too cold!
Author's note
Always use an'al dente' cooking method for pasta served in salads. The seasoning will finish cooking them. TOP! My favorite salad!
