500 g pork and veal

1 clove of garlic

1 egg yolk

5 tablespoons breadcrumbs

Pepper

Salt

2 pinches of ground nutmeg

Butter

1 tomato coulis

1 shallot

Oregano

Basil

Laurier

Preparation

Preparation: 45 min
Cooking time: 40 min
Step 1
Put the chopped meat in a dish.
Step 2
Peel and finely chop the garlic clove.
Step 3
Add garlic, egg yolk and breadcrumbs to the chopped mixture, salt, pepper and add the nutmeg. Mix everything well with your hands. Form into balls.
Step 4
Melt a little butter in a frying pan and brown the meatballs.
Step 5
Meanwhile, brown the finely chopped shallot in a small piece of butter and add the tomato coulis.
Step 6
Season with salt, pepper, oregano, basil and bay leaf.
Step 7
Place the meatballs in the tomato sauce and simmer for 30 to 40 minutes.
Step 8
Serve with fries, of course!
