1 kg of peach (I prefer yellow ones)

200 g sugar

1/2 l water

Basil




Preparation

Preparation: 15 min
Cooking time: 20 min
Step 1
Peel the peaches, then cut them into quarters.
Step 2
Heat the water with the sugar, stir well until completely dissolved.
Step 3
Poach the peaches in the syrup, 20 min over low heat (with a lid on the pan).
Step 4
Add the finely chopped basil and let cool; then put it in the fridge.
Step 5
Serve very fresh: it's delicious!
