Cauliflower with tomato and basil sauce

Cauliflower with tomato and basil sauce

2 cauliflowers

2 kg of tomato

6 tablespoons of olive oil

2 onions

2 cloves of garlic

1 bunch chopped basil

Step 1
Wash and peel the tomatoes, then chop them coarsely. Peel the garlic and onion, then chop them in a blender.
Step 2
Simmer them in an oiled saucepan with the garlic and onion minced meat. Season with salt and pepper and cook for 30 minutes over low heat.
Step 3
Clean the cauliflower and separate it into small bouquets.
Step 4
Then place them in the steamer basket and cook for 10 minutes after filling the lower container with water. Monitor the cooking to ensure that the cauliflower bouquets remain firm.

Check that the tomato sauce has thickened, then sprinkle with chopped basil leaves.

Place the cauliflower bouquets on a hot serving dish, then coat them with the tomato and basil sauce.
