Grilled pepper and mozzarella salad

Grilled pepper and mozzarella salad

Number of people

2 red peppers

2 green peppers

200 g mozzarella cheese

1 lemon

1 clove of garlic

1 bunch of basil

Olive oil

Preparation: 30 min
Cooking time: 10 min
Step 1
Wash the peppers and dry them.
Step 2
Turn on the oven grill. Once it is red, put the peppers in it for about ten minutes, make sure to turn them so that they are well roasted all around.
Step 3
Once their skins have cracked well, remove them from the oven and place them in a covered bowl or hollow dish to cool.
Step 4
Remove their skins and seeds. Cut them into strips from a bowl or hollow dish.
Step 5
In a bowl, shaker or other suitable container, pour olive and rapeseed oil (9/10 olive and 1/10 rapeseed) and then a dash of lemon juice to squeeze.
Step 6
Finely chop the basil bouquet and garlic and add them to the peppers. Sprinkle with the olive oil mixture.
Step 7
Let stand for 30 minutes.
Step 8
Just before serving, add the mozzarella cut into cubes or strips according to your presentation preferences.
