Roast veal of 1kg

1 tomato

1 cube of veal stock

Olive oil

1 shallot

Pepper

Salt

Oregano

Herbs of Provence

Basil

1 clove of garlic


Preparation

Preparation: 10 min
Cooking time: 1 h
Step 1
Add pepper to the roast and brown it in 3 tablespoons of olive oil.
Step 2
Meanwhile, chop the garlic and shallot. Cut the tomato into pieces.
Step 3
When the roast has taken on a nice colour, add the veal stock cube diluted in a large glass of water to the cooking juice.
Step 4
Add salt, pepper, garlic and shallot and herbs to the sauce. When the sauce has decreased a little, add the tomato.
Step 5
When the sauce is well homogeneous, cut the roast and put it back in the pan, so that it is well soaked with the sauce.
Step 6
Serve with mashed potatoes and mushrooms.
