Veal roulade in papillote

4 veal cutlets

4 slices of raclette cheese

2 slices of ham

Fresh cream

Steamed potatoes

Mustard

Basil

Pepper


Preparation

Preparation: 10 min
Cooking time: 15 min
Step 1
Spread a layer of mustard on the cutlets.
Step 2
Place half a slice of ham and a slice of cheese on each cutlet.
Step 3
Season with pepper, add one or two basil leaves.
Step 4
Roll the paupiettes.
Step 5
Close them with kitchen string or toothpicks.
Step 6
Place them on a square of aluminum foil.
Step 7
Surround the paupiettes with potatoes and cover with crème fraîche.
Step 8
Season again with pepper.
Step 9
Close the papillotes and put them in the oven at 200°C for 15 to 20 minutes.

You can vary the cheeses, the ham can also be replaced by bacon or others... let your imagination run wild, it's a good basic recipe!
