Zucchini with candied lemon

Zucchini with candied lemon

Number of people

7 medium-sized courgettes

2 candied lemon, cut into 4 pieces

2 yellow onions

1 clove of chopped garlic (or 1 teaspoon of garlic powder)

2 tablespoons chopped basil (fresh or frozen)

1 teaspoon of cumin powder

5 tablespoons of olive oil

Pepper from the mill


Preparation: 30 min
Cooking time: 2 h
Step 1
Cut the onions into small cubes. Brown them in a non-stick frying pan with 2 tablespoons of oil.
Step 2
Once golden, add the zucchini cut in half slices, with the rest of the ingredients. Simmer over low heat for at least an hour and a half. The preparation is ideal when it begins to confess.
Step 3
Serve hot.
Step 4
Ideal with roasted chicken, roast pork, or even pasta!

Delicious the next day, cold with leftover meat.
