Gnocchi in gratin with ham and basil

Gnocchi in gratin with ham and basil

Number of people

400 g of gnocchi, to make yourself or to buy

4 slices of ham

Butter or oil to brown the ham

2 dl of cream (half cream or whole cream, according to your taste)

1 small bunch of basil

2 tomatoes or 1 large one

Grated cheese

Parmesan cheese, to sprinkle over the top of the gratin.

Cooking time: 15 min
Step 1
Cook the gnocchi according to the instructions on the package or according to the recipe.
Step 2
Cut the tomato (from which you have removed the seeds) into small squares. If you want to peel it, scald it first and then put it under cold water, it will peel very easily!
Step 3
Cut the ham into slices and fry it. Chop the basil. Once the gnocchi are ready, drain them and pour them into a gratin dish.
Step 4
Add to the gnocchi the diced tomatoes, ham, and basil. Mix it all together, gently.
Step 5
Pour the cream over the whole, season with salt and pepper.
Step 6
Finish by sprinkling the gratin with the parmesan cheese.
Step 7
Bake in the oven (at 220°c) for about 15 min, until the top is browned!
