Gratin of minced lamb with cherry tomatoes

Gratin of minced lamb with cherry tomatoes

Number of people

5 sprigs of cherry tomato

1 handful of basil

4 tablespoons of olive oil

20 g butter

20 g flour

20 cl of milk

2 cloves of garlic

440 g lamb

100 g grated Gruyère cheese

Preparation: 15 min
Cooking time: 1 h
Step 1
Remove the stems from a branch of cherry tomatoes, wash them, cut them in half, pour them into a pan, add the basil and 1 tablespoon of olive oil and melt for 20 minutes. Wash and dry the other tomatoes.
Step 2
Melt the butter in a pan, add the flour and cook for 1 min, stirring. Wet with milk and let it thicken. Remove from the fire and set aside.
Step 3
Preheat the oven to 180°C (thermostat 6)
Step 4
Peel and chop the garlic cloves. Cook the meat and garlic in a frying pan, crushing the meat with a fork.
Step 5
Mix the cooked tomatoes, add them to the meat, salt, pepper and mix. Divide into 4 small baking dishes, cover with béchamel sauce, sprinkle with grated gruyère cheese, add the whole tomato branches and bake in the oven for 20 min, so that the top is nicely gratinated.
