Grilled mussels and their basil butter

Grilled mussels and their basil butter

60 g butter

1 tablespoon chopped basil

Cooking time: 25 min
Step 1
Remove the butter from your refrigerator.
Step 2
Clean the mussels and scrape them under cold water, then place them in a casserole dish and open them over high heat while stirring.
Step 3
When they are open, remove them from the pan, then open them, keeping only the shells containing the mussels.
Step 4
Filter the cooking juice and set aside.
Step 5
Preheat your oven to 240°C (thermostat 7).
Step 6
Reduce the butter to an ointment by working it, then mix it with the chopped basil.
Step 7
Put the butter in a bowl, then wet it with a little cooking juice.
Step 8
Stuff the mussels with 1 teaspoon of basil butter each and place them on an ovenproof dish.
Step 9
Bake, then grill for 5 minutes and enjoy immediately.
