For the Alfredo sauce:
100 g butter
15 cl of fresh cream
125 g grated Parmesan cheese
1 pinch salt and pepper
1 pinch of nutmeg
For the rest:
Ricotta
Mozzarella
Parmesan cheese (for sprinkling)
6 slices of parma ham
3 tomatoes
Basil
1 onion to taste
12 sheets of lasagne

Step 1
For the Alfredo sauce
Step 2
- Heat the butter and cream in a saucepan over low heat, stirring until the butter melts. Remove from the heat.
Step 3
- Add 100 g of parmesan cheese, salt, pepper and nutmeg.
Step 4
- Stir until the sauce is well mixed and fluid enough.
Step 5
For lasagna
Step 6
- Cut the tomatoes into thin slices.
Step 7
- Cut the cheeses into 1 cm thick pieces.
Step 8
In a dish, divide by layer: Alfredo sauce, tomato slices sprinkled with basil, lasagne leaves, mixed cheese pieces, Parma ham slices, lasagne.
Step 9
Then come back to the Alfredo sauce. And so on and so forth.
Step 10
Finish with a layer of Alfredo sauce and a layer of tomatoes.
Step 11
Sprinkle with remaining grated Parmesan or Gruyère cheese to taste.
Author's note
Serve with a green salad and possibly garlic bread (crumble a clove of garlic on slices of baking baguette).
