1.2 kg cooked whole shrimp

1 can of crushed tomatoes

1 onion

25 cl white wine

1 pastis de marseille

Basil (fresh or frozen)

Olive oil

Garlic


Preparation

Cooking time: 20 min
Step 1
Finely slice the onion and garlic.
Step 2
In a casserole dish, sauté the onion in olive oil, add the tomato can, white wine and pastis. Simmer over low heat for 10 minutes.
Step 3
In the meantime, remove and discard the heads of the shrimp.
Step 4
After 10 minutes, put the shrimp in the casserole and add the garlic and basil.
Step 5
Simmer for another 5 to 10 minutes over low heat.
Step 6
Serve with basmati rice.
