Gnocchi with ham au gratin

Gnocchi with ham au gratin

Number of people

150 g wheat semolina

50 cl of milk

50 g butter

2 eggs

150 g ham

30 g Parmesan cheese

50 g grated cheese

50 cl of tomato sauce

1 bunch of basil




Preparation: 30 min
Cooking time: 15 min
Step 1
Bring the milk to a boil with 30 g of butter, a pinch of salt and nutmeg.
Step 2
Pour in the semolina and stir, cook over low heat for 10 minutes, stirring constantly.
Step 3
Remove from the heat, add the eggs, mixing well, then the finely chopped ham and grated parmesan cheese. Mix and spread the dough on a baking sheet, about 1 cm thick. Let it cool down.
Step 4
Using a glass or a cookie cutter, cut slices from the dough. Place them in a buttered oven dish, overlapping slightly.
Step 5
Sprinkle with the remaining melted butter and sprinkle with grated cheese. Bake in the oven at 200°C (thermostat 6-7) and leave to brown for 15 minutes.
Step 6
Meanwhile, heat the tomato sauce over low heat. Add the chopped basil.
Step 7
Serve the gnocchi topped with hot sauce.
