Italian style veal balls

Italian style veal balls

Number of people

700 g veal minced veal

100 g grated or shredded parmesan cheese

70 g tomato paste

2 eggs

Chopped basil (optional)

Preparation: 5 min
Cooking time: 15 min
Step 1
Take the veal and eggs out of the fridge 15 min in advance.
Step 2
In a large bowl, mix all the ingredients by hand to obtain a homogeneous preparation.
Step 3
Heat olive oil in a frying pan.
Step 4
Form balls the size of a walnut, and cook them 15 min over medium heat, turning them regularly.
Step 5
Serve immediately with a salad or fresh pasta.
Author's note
This recipe can also be made with ground beef, or, for even more flavour, 1/2 beef, 1/2 veal.
