Mozzarella and basil cake

Number of people

1 scoop of mozzarella cheese

1 tomato

3 sprigs of basil

180 g flour

3 eggs

1 sachet of baking powder

10 cl of milk

10 cl olive oil

Salt and pepper

Preparation: 20 min
Cooking time: 40 min
Step 1
Heat the oven to 180°C (thermostat 6).
Step 2
Wash the tomato, cut it in half and remove the seeds. Cut it into small cubes.
Step 3
Cut the mozzarella into cubes. Wash and dry the basil. Remove the leaves and chop it up.
Step 4
Mix the flour and yeast in a bowl. Dig a well and break the eggs. Work the dough to lighten it, then add the olive oil and milk. Season with salt and pepper.
Step 5
When the dough has become homogeneous, add the tomato, mozzarella and chopped basil. Pour into a caker mold covered with baking paper.
Step 6
Bake for 40 minutes.
