Pasta with red beans, tomato and olives

200 g short pasta

400 g canned red beans

100 g pitted black olives

500 g of cocktail tomato

4 sprigs of basil

2 cloves of garlic

1 onion

3 tablespoons of olive oil

Cayenne pepper

Coarse salt and pepper

Preparation: 20 min
Cooking time: 30 min
Step 1
Drain and rinse the beans. Cut the tomatoes in half, chop the onion and garlic.
Step 2
In a skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of oil, cook the onion 3 min, add the garlic, tomatoes, olives, 2 pinches of pepper and chilli. Cover and simmer 20 min over low heat. Add the beans halfway through the cooking time.
Step 3
Boil a large quantity of water (2 litres) with 1 tablespoon of coarse salt, cook the pasta (not too much, it will be cooked later), drain it.
Step 4
Mix the pasta with the tomato beans. Cook 5 min, add the stripped basil, the rest of the oil, serve immediately.
