Summer pie with tomato sauce

700 g zucchini

1 medium can of tuna in the wild

3 whole eggs

1 bunch of basil

Lemon Lemon

20 cl of liquid cream

2 tablespoons of thick cream

Pepper

Salt

Olive oil

1 puff pastry dough
For quick grouting

20 cl of tomato sauce

Cooking time: 35 min
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 200°C.
Step 2
Peel the courgettes and cut them into cubes.
Step 3
Heat a frying pan with 2 tablespoons of olive oil and brown the diced courgettes with a pinch of salt and pepper until they turn golden. Allow to cool.
Step 4
In a bowl, combine the eggs, liquid cream, crème fraîche, chopped basil and lemon juice. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Step 5
Add the courgettes and pour over the puff pastry.
Step 6
Drain the tuna and crumble it on the preparation.
Step 7
Bake in the oven for about 35 minutes.
Step 8
Once cooked, let cool and place the pie in the fridge.
Step 9
Pour the tomato sauce into a bowl and add the chopped basil, salt and pepper.
Step 10
Keep in a cool place until ready to serve.
Author's note
Serve this very fresh tart with its coulis. The combination of zucchini and tuna may surprise but it is a delight! fresh and light, this dish is ideal for hot summer evenings.
