400 g cherry tomato

250 g shallot

Shortcrust pastry

basil leaf

20 g soft butter



Preparation

Preparation: 20 min
Cooking time: 30 min
Step 1
Wash the cherry tomatoes, peel the shallots.
Step 2
Sauté the shallots in butter for a few minutes.
Step 3
Place the shallots and raw tomatoes in a pie pan (diameter 20/26, depth 4-5 cm).
Step 4
Spread a few basil leaves on top and cover with the shortcrust pastry.
Step 5
Place in the oven for about 30 minutes at 200°C (therm. 6-7).
Step 6
The sugar in the shallots should form a thin layer of caramel at the bottom of the pan.
Author's note
Serve with mushrooms or zucchini stuffed with garlic/parsley, for example.
