Zucchini and beef rice gratin

1 onion

1 large can peeled tomato

500 g ground beef

5 medium courgettes

2 sachets of rice (250 g)

200 g grated gruyère cheese

2 tablespoons olive oil

Parsley

Basil

Herbs of Provence

Pepper

Salt

Step 1
Heat a pot of water and cook the rice according to the instructions in the package.
Step 2
Peel the courgettes and cut them into thin slices. Heat a spoonful of oil in a frying pan and fry the zucchini to remove the water.
Step 3
Peel and slice the onion. Heat a spoonful of oil in a frying pan, add the onion, then the beef and finally the chopped tomatoes. Add the spices and cook for 5 minutes over low heat.
Step 4
In a dish mix the rice, zucchini and tomato sauce, add the gruyère cheese and bake in the oven at 200°C (thermostat 6-7) for 15 minutes.
