Granny-style seafood lasagna

Granny-style seafood lasagna

Number of people

1.5 kg of frozen seafood

1.5 l of brick tomato puree

1 can of lasagna

Anchovies (optional)

2 onions

2 cloves of garlic



5 sugar cubes (This is very important for the sauce, otherwise it is too sour!)

2 packets of grated cheese

1 brick of liquid fresh cream

1 lasagna (or 2 small ones)


Preparation: 30 min
Cooking time: 45 min
Step 1
Thaw seafood in a colander before cooking.
Step 2
Sauté the onions, garlic, and a few anchovies in a saucepan with olive oil.
Step 3
Prepare the tomato sauce:

Add the 3 bricks of tomatoes to the onion, garlic and anchovy mixture, season with salt and pepper, and add the sugar cubes.
Step 5
Cook for a few minutes, then add all the seafood to the sauce. Now add the basil.
Step 6
Cook for about 30 minutes, over a low heat.
Step 7
Preheat your oven to 240°C (th 8).
Step 8
When the sauce is ready (the smell must have spread throughout the house...), add the brick of fresh cream.

For the assembly of lasagna:

Spread a layer of sauce on the bottom of the dish, add the lasagna leaves, so as to cover the dish well, put a layer of sauce back on, then add the grated cheese... And so on, until you finish with a good layer of grated cheese.

All the preparation can thus make about 4 to 5 layers of lasagna.
Step 12
Bake for about 30 to 45 minutes Bake in a hot oven for 30 to 45 minutes. Prick with a knife to check the cooking.

Turn off the oven, and wait 10 minutes before eating.
