Seafood Rösti

Number of people

250 g potato

1 tablespoon olive oil

15 cl of fresh cream

2 tablespoons cornstarch (cornstarch)

1 teaspoon red pepper

1 tablespoon dill

1 teaspoon chopped basil



250 g seafood (preferably half shrimps and mussels)

Preparation: 15 min
Cooking time: 30 min
Step 1
Heat the potatoes in boiling water until they are tender (about 15 min).
Step 2
Preheat the oven to 180°C (thermostat 6).
Step 3
Meanwhile, mix the crème fraiche, cornstarch, chilli, herbs, seafood and onions.
Step 4
When the potatoes are tender, let them cool for 5 minutes.
Step 5
Remove the skin, and grate them (the robot does it very well).
Step 6
Add the oil.
Step 7
Place the seafood mixture in a gratin dish, spread it out and cover with the potatoes.
Step 8
Put in the oven until this gratin is golden brown, about 20 min.
Step 9
Enjoy your meal.
Author's note
For small budgets, seafood blends are available in supermarkets at very affordable prices. Normally, this is done with 130 g of shrimp and 130 g of mussels, but this type of mixture also gives a very good taste.
