Bread goat cheese - bacon - basil

Number of people

2 loaves (like a loaf of sliced white bread)

1 log goat cheese

200 g bacon

2 tomatoes

basil leaf

1 drizzle of olive oil

Preparation: 5 min
Cooking time: 15 min
Step 1
Spread the bread slices with olive oil.
Step 2
Brown the bacon for a few minutes in a fat-free frying pan to cook it a little.
Step 3
Spread the bacon on the bread slices.
Step 4
Cut the tomatoes into slices and put 4 slices on the bacon.
Step 5
Cut slices of barely 1 cm from the goat log and put them on the tomatoes (4 to 5 slices of goat according to everyone's taste).
Step 6
Sprinkle with chopped basil (I still have a box of basil in the freezer).
Step 7
Put an aluminium foil on the oven rack and put the filled slices in the oven for about 20 to 30 minutes at 200°C (thermostat 6-7).
Step 8
The goat must be well melted and the bread slices must be crispy.
Step 9
Serve at the end of the oven with a small salad.
Author's note
I make white ham/gruyère or country ham/goat or country ham/roquefort variants.

I add my grain of salt
