Number of people

1/2 baguette of bread

1 slice of white ham

2 slices of raw or smoked ham

2 tomatoes

1 tablespoon mayonnaise

2 tablespoons grated gruyère cheese

30 g fresh goat cheese

2 tablespoons of grated mimolette (optional)



1 tablespoon olive oil

1 teaspoon basil powder

Preparation: 15 min
Cooking time: 10 min
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 180°C (thermostat 6).
Step 2
Open the half rod lengthwise and cut into 2 pieces, for a total of 4 pieces.
Step 3
Brush a thin layer of mayonnaise on each part.
Step 4
Cut the hams into small rectangles and place on the bread, interspersing them.
Step 5
Cut the tomatoes into thin slices and place them on top of the ham.
Step 6
Place a small amount of fresh goat cheese on each slice.
Step 7
Cover the whole with a layer of grated Gruyère cheese and also mimolette (optional).
Step 8
Season with salt and pepper. Drizzle with olive oil and a little basil powder.
Step 9
Bake for 10 minutes and enjoy with a salad.
Step 10
Ideal for an evening meal.

Other leftovers of cheese can be used for this recipe, a friend of mine replaces the mayonnaise with fresh cream.
