Orange melon ice cream soup

Orange melon ice cream soup

Number of people

1 medium melon

Orange juice


1 large pinch of ginger powder

3 drops of tabasco (+ or - depending on taste)

4 basil leaves

12 parmesan shavings

12 drops of balsamic vinegar

Preparation: 15 min
Step 1
In the blender bowl, put the melon cut into large cubes and orange juice to make about 80 cl of soup.
Step 2
Mixer. Add salt, ginger and tabasco in small quantities, dripping until the seasoning is to your liking.
Step 3
Put the mixture in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.
Step 4
Just before serving, place the soup in 4 pretty bowls, carve a large basil leaf on each, grate a few shavings of parmesan cheese and sprinkle with a few drops of balsamic vinegar.
Author's note
Prefer the real balsamic vinegar, more expensive but with an incomparable taste. A few grilled croutons can be served as an accompaniment.
