Penne salad with tuna, pesto and pine nuts

4 tablespoons of olive oil

400 g of penne

5 tablespoons of pesto

1 teaspoon white wine vinegar

Pepper

Salt

200 g plain canned tuna

50 g shelled walnut kernel or 70 g pine nuts

basil leaf

Cooking time: 11 min
Step 1
Cook the penne in 2 litres of boiling water with a drizzle of olive oil and a handful of coarse salt for 10 to 15 minutes depending on the desired cooking time. Drain them and rinse them in cold water. Set them aside in a bowl.
Step 2
In a bowl, mix the pesto and vinegar, add pepper.
Step 3
Pour over the penne, mix. Add nuts or pine nuts, olive oil, tuna. Mix it all together. Put in the fridge for 15 minutes.
Step 4
Just before serving, if the mixture seems too dry, add a few drops of olive oil.
Step 5
Decorate with the basil leaves.
