2 slices of stale bread

500 g ground beef

6 cloves of garlic

400 g tomato puree

Parsley

Basil

tablespoon oregano

1 tablespoon olive oil

Pepper

Salt

Preparation: 20 min
Cooking time: 1 h
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 220°C (thermostat 7).
Step 2
Mix the crumbled bread with the garlic, parsley and basil.
Step 3
Add this minced meat to the tomato purée, add the oil, spices, salt and pepper.
Step 4
Add the ground beef and knead until the mixture is smooth.
Step 5
Pour the mixture into an oiled, well packed cake pan. Cook for 1 hour.
Step 6
Serve warm or cold with tomato sauce and a salad with garlic rubbed croutons.
