Turkey Stir Fry and Crunchy Noodles

Turkey Stir Fry and Crunchy Noodles

Number of people

Chinese noodles (200 g)

2 extra-fine veal cutlets, or veal

70 g tomato paste

3 tablespoons of good quality olive oil

1 onion (fresh or frozen)

3 cloves of garlic (fresh or frozen)

Ras el Hanout (Oriental spice blend)


Cumin (powder)

Coriander (powder)

Basil (frozen, powdered)




Preparation: 20 min
Cooking time: 15 min
Step 1
Cook the noodles (3 min) and set aside in a dry place.
Step 2
Meanwhile, cut the turkey into pieces, chop the onions and garlic.
Step 3
In a skillet or large frying pan, make the tomato sauce.
Step 4
Mix the concentrated tomato and oil, then dilute with a little water.
Step 5
Add the spices, onions and garlic, then a piece of sugar.
Step 6
Simmer a little (3-4 min).
Step 7

Set aside one third of the sauce to which tabasco and basil are added.
Step 9
Add the turkey to the pan with the remaining sauce and cover for 3 minutes.

Remove the lid and cook the meat.
Step 11
Once the sauce is reduced and thick, add the noodles and grill.

Remove from heat when noodles are roasted and have absorbed the sauce.
Step 13
Serve very hot, cover with the remaining sauce.

To give a little Asian taste in addition to sugar, I add Spiracha sauce (Asian pepper sauce, the one from the restaurant ;-)).
Author's note
This recipe is quite simple!! The spices I use are the ones I have at home, but you can flavour your tomato sauce as you please. Sugar removes the acidity from the tomato, it's the little trick. Honestly it is a very simple and very good dish, while being fast.
