Salmon with basil sauce

Salmon with basil sauce

Number of people

4 salmon steaks, each weighing about 200 g

Lemon Lemon

2 cloves of garlic

4 tablespoons of olive oil

4 tablespoons chopped basil

1 tablespoon almond powder

Salt / pepper

Preparation: 15 min
Cooking time: 15 min
Step 1
Season the salmon steaks with salt and pepper.
Step 2
Sprinkle them with 2 tablespoons of lemon juice.
Step 3
Place each block on a piece of aluminum foil and wrap them to form papillotes. Place them in a steam pot basket and cook for 15 minutes.
Step 4
Cut the ends of the garlic cloves, without peeling them. Cook them in 2 tablespoons of hot oil, 10 min over low heat. Drain them and press one end to remove the pulp.
Step 5
Add the basil, almond powder, remaining oil, 1 tbsp lemon juice, salt and pepper to the garlic pulp.
Step 6
Open the papillotes, spread the basil sauce over the paving stones and let stand a few minutes before serving.

You can serve this dish with white basmati rice
