1 shortcrust pastry

20 leaves of basil or frozen basil (30 g)

200 g feta cheese

4 eggs

25 cl of fresh cream

Milk (optional)

Pepper

Salt




Preparation

Cooking time: 45 min
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 180°C (thermostat 6).
Step 2
Beat the eggs and add the cream. If desired, add a little milk for consistency. Mix the preparation.
Step 3
Chop the basil (trick: put the leaves in a bowl and chop with scissors) and add it to the mixture.
Step 4
Cut the feta cheese into cubes or crush it.
Step 5
Place the dough in a mould, spread the feta cheese all over and pour in the egg mixture.
Step 6
Bake in a hot oven for about 30 minutes.
Author's note
With a green salad this pie will be very appreciated! For decoration you can add a few thin slices of tomatoes.
