Number of people

2 slices of country bread or cereal bread

1 tomato

1 bunch of basil

1 red onion (or 1 small shallot)

1 clove of garlic

6 scallops

Olive oil

Flower of salt

Pepper from the mill

Preparation: 20 min
Cooking time: 5 min
Step 1
Cut the tomato in half, remove the seeds and cut it into small cubes (2-3 mm x 2-3 mm)
Step 2
Finely chop the basil leaves and red onion (or shallot).
Step 3
Mix tomato, basil and onion.
Step 4
Add a little olive oil, a turn of the pepper mill and a pinch of fleur de sel.

Let stand 5 to 10 minutes

Scale scallops in 3 (in thickness)

Toast the slices of bread with a toaster

As soon as the toaster comes out, rub them lightly with the peeled and degermed garlic clove.

Place the slices on a lightly oiled non-stick plate (olive oil)

Divide the basil and onion tomato mixture among the slices.

Arrange the scallops slices on the mixture.

Pour a dash of olive oil over the scallops

Turn the pepper mill and add a touch of fleur de sel

Place in a hot oven (200-225°) for 5 minutes.
