350 g very thin beef (or veal) escalope

8 fresh basil leaves

2 cloves of garlic

1 lemon

Olive oil

Breadcrumbs

Pepper

Salt

Step 1
Prepare the marinade:

Mix the juice of one lemon with 12 tablespoons of olive oil, pressed garlic and finely chopped basil.
Step 3
Marinate the cutlets in this mixture in the fridge for about 2 hours.
Step 4
Bread the meat pieces by passing them in the breadcrumbs, then fry them in a large frying pan with the olive oil from the marinade.
Step 5
Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Author's note
Ideal with pasta as an accompaniment.
