1 package of fresh potato gnocchi for 4 people

1 tray of fresh cheese

2 cloves of garlic


Nutmeg (preferably fresh, to be grated)

10 cl of milk approximately

50 g chopped fresh basil

Pepper and salt

100 g Parmesan cheese about

Preparation: 15 min
Cooking time: 15 min
Step 1
In a frying pan, melt the garlic cut into very small pieces in a large knob of butter.
Step 2
When the garlic is cooked and lightly browned, add the fresh cheese and mix vigorously to form a thick paste.
Step 3
Then add the milk to thin the sauce (the amount of milk can vary according to your taste) and the basil.
Step 4
Once you have obtained a good consistency for your sauce (plunge a wooden spoon, if it comes out covered with it it is good), add about 2 teaspoons of nutmeg, pepper and salt to taste.
Step 5
Finally add the parmesan cheese, shaved or grated and cook over low heat for a few minutes to cook the gnocchi.
Step 6
Immerse the gnocchi in boiling salted water, as soon as they rise to the surface, drain them.
Step 7
Put the gnocchi in the sauce pan and serve immediately. You can add Parmesan cheese once the gnocchi are on the plate....
