Roasted Camembert with Basil

Roasted Camembert with Basil

Number of people

1 camembert with raw milk

1 bunch of fresh basil

2 cloves of garlic + 2 others for bread

1 fresh tomato, peeled

Olive oil

Toasted bread

Preparation: 5 min
Cooking time: 15 min
Step 1
Put the whole camembert in aluminium foil either in the ember of the barbecue, or on an electric barbecue, or in an oven preheated to 150°C (thermostat 5), for 15 to 20 minutes. (make sure it does not "explode")
Step 2
Mix the basil, garlic and tomato with olive oil.
Step 3
Once the camembert is hot, split it on top and add the sauce.
Step 4
Stir gently to mix with the melted camembert without damaging the crust.
Step 5
To be enjoyed by dipping slices of toasted bread in it, rubbed with garlic for lovers.
Author's note
Leave the camembert out of the fridge for 12 to 24 hours to make it more or less firm.
