1 cauliflower

300 g ground meat

25 leaves of fresh basil or 3 tablespoons of dried basil (in a pot)

1 tablespoon ground nutmeg

100 g grated Gruyère cheese

Pepper

Salt

Olive oil

100 g butter

100 g flour

100 cl of milk

Step 1
Boil water (with 1 tablespoon olive oil, salt and pepper) in a pot, and after peeling the cauliflower (remove the foot and separate into several pieces, wash), put it in the pot for about ten minutes over medium heat, add the basil (25 leaves if it is fresh, 3 spoons if it is in a pot. Also add a tablespoon of ground nutmeg; when it is cooked remove it from the heat, drain and set aside.
Step 2
Brown the minced meat in a frying pan.
Step 3
Then prepare the béchamel sauce: melt the butter over low heat and add the flour. Leave on the heat without ceasing to stir for 2 to 3 minutes. Remove from the heat and add the milk; return to the heat and keep stirring until a thick sauce is obtained.
Step 4
Then take an ovenproof dish and alternate the minced meat, cauliflower and béchamel sauce.
Step 5
Sprinkle the gruyère cheese over it and bake in the oven for 45 minutes at 180 degrees.
