Pepper bites with fresh goat cheese

Pepper bites with fresh goat cheese

Number of people

2 red peppers

200 g fresh goat cheese

1 clove of garlic

1 tablespoon olive oil

4 sprigs fresh basil



Preparation: 30 min
Cooking time: 40 min
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 210°C.
Step 2
Place the peppers (whole) on the oven rack (put the drip tray to collect the juice). As soon as the skin turns colour, turn them over. When they are roasted, let them cool completely with the oven off.
Step 3
Remove the skin, ribs and seeds from the peppers, quarter them and pat them dry on absorbent paper.
Step 4
Peel and crush the garlic. Chop the basil.
Step 5
Crush the cheese with a fork, add the garlic, basil and olive oil.
Step 6
Place the pepper pieces flat on a board and cover them with cheese. Form rolls and cut them into slices to form bites.
Step 7
Season with pepper and salt if necessary.
