Number of people

1 kg of jam strawberries

2 apples

8 fresh basil leaves

1 shortcrust pastry

1 pinch of sugar

1 knob of butter

Preparation: 20 min
Cooking time: 15 min
Step 1
Wash and remove the stems from the strawberries.
Step 2
Peel the apples and cut them into pieces.
Step 3
Cook 500 g of strawberries in a saucepan with apples and a little water until you get a compote.
Step 4
During the cooking time, bake the dough (spread it in a mould, cover the bottom with baking paper and rice grains to absorb moisture.
Step 5
Bake 10 min at 180°C (thermostat 6) in the oven.
Step 6
Wash and cut the basil leaves in the compote and simmer for 10 minutes.
Step 7
Cut the remaining strawberries in half, and fry them in butter and a little sugar to brown them.
Step 8
Spread the compote on the dough, and place the cooked strawberries on top.
Step 9
Sprinkle with sugar and bake in the oven at 180°C for 10 minutes (thermostat 6).
