Tuna with tomatoes and peas

Number of people

1 can (400 g) tuna in oil

4 ripe tomatoes

300 g fresh or frozen peas

1 onion

1 clove of garlic

1 handful of fresh basil

Olive oil

Step 1
Boil a large pot of salted water. Cook the peas in it for about 10 minutes.
Step 2
Cut the tomatoes crosswise at the base. Immerse them in boiling water for 30 seconds and peel them. Cut the flesh into large pieces.
Step 3
Chop the onion, garlic and basil. Heat 1 tablespoon of oil, brown the minced garlic and onion - basil for a few minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
Step 4
Add the tomatoes, mix, then add the drained peas.
Step 5
Simmer over high heat for about 10 minutes, then add the drained tuna and cut into pieces.
Step 6
Remove from heat and serve hot.
