Veal roll with basil and parma ham

Veal roll with basil and parma ham

Number of people

4 ultra-fine veal cutlets

4 nice slices of parma ham

1 nice bouquet of fresh basil

1 piece of fresh parmesan cheese

Olive oil

Preparation: 10 min
Cooking time: 10 min
Step 1
Ask your favourite butcher for some nice, ultra-fine veal cutlets, telling him that it's for rolling. (1 per person)
Step 2
On each of them, place a slice of Parma ham, fresh Parmesan cheese shavings and cover with basil leaves.
Step 3
Roll the escalope as tightly as possible and hold it with a wooden skewer.
Step 4
Cook in a frying pan over low heat in olive oil until the heart of the roll is well cooked and the outside is golden brown.
Step 5
Serve with fresh tagliatelle (or mashed potatoes) seasoned with olive oil.
