1 bunch of fresh basil
50 g almond powder
4 cloves of garlic

Step 1
Chop the basil leaves with the garlic cloves, season with salt and pepper, then add the almond powder and work into a paste.
Step 2
Stir in olive oil, stirring constantly as if to make a mayonnaise until desired consistency is reached.
Step 3
Keep in a cool place.
Author's note
Ideal to serve with spaghetti or pistou soup (simply pour the sauce into the soup when ready to serve).
