Chicken Papillotes with Apple

300 g chicken breast

250 g fresh button mushrooms

1 leek

1 apple (jonagold or granny according to taste)

10 cl dry white wine

10 cl of fresh cream

fresh basil leaf

Step 1
Preheat the oven to 200°C (thermostat 6).
Step 2
Clean the vegetables and then cut the mushrooms into slices and the leek into slices (not too thin).
Step 3
Peel and dice the apple (to prevent it from turning dark, you can drizzle it with lemon juice).
Step 4
In a bowl, mix the crème fraîche, white wine and spices. Depending on taste, count 1 to 3 spoons of paprika.
Step 5
Form 2 papillotes: first place the vegetables in the centre of the aluminium foil, place the meat on top, cover with the sauce and close the papillotes.
Step 6
Bake the papillotes in the oven for 35 to 40 minutes.
Step 7
Serve with rice or wheat.
Author's note
This recipe is quite light because it contains little fat. It can be lightened further by using low-fat fresh cream. For cooking, you can also steam the papillotes in the basket of an electric steamer, for example.
