Number of people

300 g fresh gnocchi (the real ones, made with potatoes)

2 shallots

3 tablespoons of olive oil

2 tablespoons fresh grated parmesan cheese

2 fresh basil leaves

Pepper from the mill


Preparation: 5 min
Cooking time: 10 min
Step 1
Boil the water (salt) for the gnocchi and finely slice the shallots into slices.
Step 2
In a non-stick frying pan, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil, then add the shallots over medium heat.
Step 3
Stir often and cook until the shallots have a nice caramel colour.
Step 4
Immerse the gnocchi in boiling water and drain as soon as they rise to the surface.
Step 5
Arrange on a plate and drizzle with olive oil (of good quality if possible), sprinkle with shallots and parmesan, decorate with basil, pepper lightly and enjoy immediately!

This easy and quick dish can be served as a starter (in this case, count between 200g and 300g) or as a main course, accompanied by a good salad, when you don't have enough time to cook...
