Jenn style creamy penne

Jenn style creamy penne

Number of people

10 slices of pancetta

4 tomatoes

500 g of penne

1 tablespoon olive oil

2 tablespoons fresh or dried basil

30 cl of fresh cream

Cooking time: 20 min
Step 1
Cross cut the top of each tomato, then plunge them into boiling water for 1 to 2 min, cool them under cold water to peel them.
Step 2
Cut the tomatoes in half, remove the seeds with a teaspoon, then slice them finely.
Step 3
Cook the pasta in a large pot of boiling salted water until it is "al dente" (melting but firm).
Step 4
While the pasta is cooking, heat the oil. Cut the pancetta into thin slices.
Step 5
Sauté the pancetta, stirring gently. Add basil, cream, salt and pepper and simmer for 5 minutes.
Step 6
Just before serving, place the tomatoes in the mixture and simmer for 2 to 3 minutes. Enjoy your meal.
