Magarita pizza

Number of people

500 g flour

20 g baker's yeast

10 cl warm water

3 tablespoons of oil

1 teaspoon sugar

1 teaspoon of salt

500 g mozzarella cheese

1.5 kg of elongated tomatoes (Roma)

2 onions

2 cloves of garlic

1/2 bunch of fresh basil

Cooking time: 12 min
Step 1
Dissolve the yeast in warm water with the sugar. Let it double in volume.
Step 2
Sift the flour and salt. Add the previously prepared sourdough and oil, knead the dough vigorously. Flour it and let it rest in a warm place for about 1 hour.
Step 3
Peel the tomatoes and remove the seeds. Crush them.
Step 4
Sweat the chopped onions and garlic in a saucepan with a little oil. Add the tomatoes, a pinch of sugar and cook over low heat for 30 minutes. Add the chopped basil and remove from the heat.
Step 5
Divide the dough into two balls. Spread 2 discs, cover them with tomato sauce and mozzarela cut into pieces. Drizzle with oil and sprinkle with pepper and oregano.
Step 6
Bake the pizzas for 10 to 15 minutes in the oven at 240°C (thermostat 8).
