Biftek marchand the fin

Number of persons

4 beef steak (rump steak, flank steak, walnut steak...)

2 shallots

1/2 bouquet garni in cube

15 cl of mustard ) of red wine

15 cl of water

Pepper and a few knobs of butter


Preparation time: 5 min
Cooking time: 15 min
Step 1
Chop the shallots and fry them in a pan without scorching.
Step 2
Add the bouquet garni, red wine, water and simmer over low heat for 10 minutes.
Step 3
Meanwhile, cook the steaks to desired doneness in a little fat, season with salt and pepper.
Stage 4
Keep the meat warm and put the meat juice to the previous preparation.
Step 5
Add the butter nuts with a hand whisk and simmer for 5 min.
Step 6
Enjoy with homemade fries and a salad.
Author's note
Replace the homemade fries with oven fries to lighten the dish a little.
