Braised Swiss chard with onions

Braised Swiss chard with onions

Number of persons

8 Swiss chard

2 onions

1 tablespoon of olive oil

2 cloves of garlic

1 tablespoon chopped parsley

1 bar of chicken broth.

Preparation time: 45 min
Cooking time: 10 min
Step 1
Wash and peel the chard ribs and cut them into pieces. Blanch them for 2 min in boiling water then drain.
Stage 2
Cut the onions into strips or small pieces and fry them in hot oil. When the onions are translucent, add the chard and mix well.
Step 3
Add 20 cl of water with the stock cube,
Step 4
then crushed garlic and chopped parsley.
Step 5
With a pressure cooker count 10 minutes of cooking time from the moment the valve whispers.
Author's note
Parsley can be replaced by herbes de Provence or other spices.
