1 kg of chard

1 tablespoon pastis

20 cl fresh cream

Pepper

Salt

50 g grated cheese (optional)





Preparation

Cooking time: 45 min
Step 1
Prepare the chard ribs: remove the leaves, wash them and cut them into pieces of about 3 cm.
Step 2
Cook them in boiling salted water for 30 minutes. Drain them.
Stage 3
Then heat a little olive oil in a frying pan or stewpot, add the chard ribs, a tablespoon of pastis, the crème fraîche, salt and pepper.
Step 4
Allow to heat for 5 to 10 minutes.
Step 5
Serve hot with a little grated cheese (optional).

The taste of pastis is light.
