Step 1
Preheat the oven to 225°C (thermostat 7-8).

Cut the cold polenta into cubes.
Step 3
Arrange (tightly) on an oiled baking sheet and sprinkle with grated cheese.
Step 4
Bake in the oven for about 10 min, the cheese should be well melted, and finish 5 min under the broiler so that they are crispy.
Step 5
Separate them roughly and present them in a dish. They will replace the bread crumbs in the soup.
